User Roles and Capabilities

The features available within ArcLearn depend upon the your role as an ArcLearn user. There are four roles: 1) guest; 2) participant; 3) trainer; and 4) administrator.

A guest is a person who is not a licensed member of ArcLearn. The guest can peruse the site and can purchase pay-per-view DVD Style programs.

A participant is part of an organization that has at least one licensed program in ArcLearn. The participant can use ArcLearn for the full breadth of training available in ArcLearn.

A trainer is typically a person in a training department or a supervisor who has the responsibility for the training of others.

An administrator has all of the capabilities of a trainer PLUS special capabilities to administer ArcLearn preferences for the organization.
