Like all ArcLearn users, Student Participants can manage their accounts, view pending orders, edit addresses and change passwords.
They can also search the catalog, preview DVD-style training programs,
contact the local help desk for support, use our video troubleshooting tools and review the FAQ’s for Students.
When searching the catalog, students can optionally filter the course list to show only those courses
which have been licensed by your organization. This option excludes programs which are available to the students on a pay-per-view basis.
Students may, if desired, purchase pay-per-view programs.
A pay-per-view license entitles one person to view a single DVD-style course for his or her personal enrichment.
Viewing is initiated on the ArcLearn Video Access web page and can be started whenever desired.
Although the student may pause or even restart the program, once viewing begins, it must be completed within four hours.
Most often, students will search the catalog looking for courses your organization has already licensed.
Students can select courses of interest and self-enroll.
Both self-selected courses and courses assigned by your Training Coordinators will appear
on the student’s personal
"My Courses" home-page.
The
"My Courses"
page is the jumping off point for starting or resuming any course.
E-learning courses are subdivided into lessons that can be paused at any time and
restarted later - since ArcLearn tracks where the student left off (even within a video).
Next and Previous buttons on course pages give each student the ability to proceed at his/her own pace.
Note that selection criteria are provided so that the student can filter the course list.
Clicking on a column heading resequences the course list on that attribute.
